Class Descriptions

Most of our scheduled classes are regular CrossFit classes, meaning you will see all fitness levels in any one of these classes and everyone is welcome to attend. The class begins with a predetermined warmup, instructional work followed by a workout and a cool down. The athletes will be in and out of the gym in an hour.

We have three other classes on our schedule and each one can be described as follows:

CrossFit Lite: Our CrossFit Lite class is open to everyone and the WOD is generally very similar to the regular WOD, however, it is often a scaled down version. The Lite classes are run in an identical manner as to the regular class, but tend to run a bit shorter. The warmups vary from the regular class, although the regular warmup is available.

CrossFit Sports: The ‘Sports’ class is reserved for kids over the age of 12 who are interested in working out and getting stronger. Both boys and girls are encouraged to participate. The Sports class follows the same format as the regular CrossFit class and the same WOD is done daily.

Elements: Elements is a program designed to give newcomers a chance to learn the 9 foundational movements in CrossFit (squat, front squat, overhead squat, shoulder press, push press, push jerk, deadlift, sumo deadlift high pull, and medicine ball clean) in a less intimidating and safe environment. The Elements is also open to existing members who wish to have a refresher on the basic moves used in CrossFit.

Either drop by or give our number a call and talk to Phil to get yourself set up. Usually our new members have to go through our elements, but because you will only be here for a short time, we can make it work!
